Gift at a Glance

A round disc of dark natural slate, laser engraved across the top with "Together is my favorite place to be at Christmas" in mixed block capitals and script, with a scatter of engraved snowflakes below it. Your family surname is engraved near the bottom between the words "The" and "Family," and the year you choose sits underneath.

Why You'll Love It

The quote does the talking on this one. "Together is my favorite place to be at Christmas" is the thing people actually mean when they say they are going home for the holidays, and putting a family name under it turns a nice sentiment into a specific one.

The engraving is cut into natural slate with a laser, so the lettering sits in the stone and holds its edge instead of flaking off the way printed designs do. Every disc comes off a different piece of stone, which means the grain, the shading, and the edge on yours are its own.

This custom family Christmas ornament works as well on a mantel hook or an ornament stand as it does on a branch. MyOrnament personalizes and ships it within 24 hours.

Helpful Details

You enter the surname only; the words "The" and "Family" are already engraved into the design, so your family name lands as one complete line on the ornament. The year goes on its own line beneath the family name, which makes it easy to order a new one each December and build a run of them. A jute cord comes threaded through the hole at the top.

• Families hosting Christmas for the first time
• Newlyweds using their married name
• Parents who want one ornament for everyone
• Grandparents with the full house at Christmas

Materials & Personalization

Made from natural slate, 3 inches tall by 3 inches wide, with the shading and edge variation that comes with real stone. The design is laser engraved into the surface. The fixed engraved text reads "Together is my favorite place to be at Christmas" across the top, with engraved snowflakes beneath it and the words "The" and "Family" framing the name line; none of that copy is editable. You supply the family surname and the year. A jute cord is included for hanging, and the ornament is personalized and ships within 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I personalize on this family Christmas ornament?

Is the quote engraved or printed?
Engraved. The quote, the snowflakes, and your family name are all laser engraved into the slate on this custom Christmas ornament, so nothing rubs off or fades.

What is it made of and how big is it?
Natural slate, 3 inches tall by 3 inches wide. Each piece has its own grain and edge, so no two ornaments match exactly.

How does it hang?
A jute cord comes threaded through a hole at the top of the slate, so it hangs on a tree branch, a hook, or an ornament stand without any extra hardware.

How fast does it ship?
MyOrnament personalizes and ships this ornament within 24 hours of your order.

Can I order one for a different year later?
