Gift at a Glance

An Australian Shepherd with its head and front paws resting over the top of a large white dog bone, a small red heart at the end of it, personalized with your dog's name across the bone and the year beneath. This personalized Australian Shepherd Christmas ornament puts your dog on the tree by name.

Why You'll Love It

An Australian Shepherd requires employment. If you do not supply a job, they will create one, and it will involve herding the children, the cat, and anyone attempting to leave the room without permission.

Add the name and the year and it becomes a small dated marker of a year with them. Hand-painted in 3D, and the engraving on the white bone stays legible long after a printed label would have worn off.

Helpful Details

Both lines are laser engraved into the bone rather than printed, which is why they stay sharp season after season. The Australian Shepherd is hand-painted in 3D over the top of the bone, a small red heart sits at one end, and the satin ribbon is already attached for hanging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the dog on this ornament clearly an Australian Shepherd?

Yes. The dog is sculpted and hand-painted as an Australian Shepherd with the breed's merle markings, white blaze and copper points, so it reads as an Aussie rather than a generic herding dog.

What exactly can I personalize, and will it wear off?

Two fields: a name of up to 12 characters engraved across the middle of the bone, and a 4-digit year engraved below it. Both are laser engraved into the polyresin, so the lettering is cut into the surface and cannot rub off or fade.

Does this work as a memorial for a dog who has passed?

Yes. A great many of these are bought for exactly that. The name and a year on the bone keep a dog on the tree, which is why this design is used as often for remembrance as it is for a new puppy.

When will it arrive if I order now?

Engraving and dispatch happen within 24 hours of ordering. It arrives gift wrapped with the satin ribbon already attached, so there is nothing left to do to it.

Personalization: Name (up to 12 characters), year (4 characters).
